DevOps & IT Operations Lead

Your main roles and responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a global ICS roadmap aligned with Sensonic’s business objectives
  • Act as the first point of contact for all company-wide IT issues, including ticket management, hardware, and software assets
  • Drive strategic IT and cybersecurity initiatives across risk, control, and compliance globally
  • Establish and manage standard operating procedures and incident response frameworks
  • Oversee and optimize AWS environments, including IAM, networks, EC2, EKS, and DevOps tools
  • Lead Kubernetes, GitLab CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) environments, including Ansible and other configuration management systems
  • Implement enterprise-grade security architectures and coordinate audits, compliance, control testing, and remediation activities
  • Collaborate with internal teams, external providers, and leadership while developing training programs and workshops

You would be perfect for this role if

  • you hold a degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent
  • you have proven experience managing enterprise IT and ICS operations
  • you have hands-on experience with AWS (IAM, networks, EC2, EKS), Kubernetes and container orchestration, GitLab CI/CD, Ansible, Python or Bash, and MS365 administration
  • you have strong network, system, and application-level security knowledge
  • you have excellent communication and leadership skills; fluent in English (German desirable)
