Solution Delivery Engineer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Solution Delivery Engineer to join the Engineering team in the UK. Based in Farnborough, the Solution Delivery Engineer will report to the Engineering Manager and will work as part of the team working closely with Operations and R&D to provide customer support, conduct site installations, configurations, data collection and delivery of complex systems for new and ongoing projects. 


Your main roles and responsibilities

  • Collaborate in a team of engineers working with Sensonic products and solutions based on DAS technology (Distributed Acoustic Sensing)
  • Carry out on-site visits and prepare detailed analyses
  • Configuration, calibration and monitoring of Sensonic solutions in the field
  • Provide customer support and maintenance, both remote and on-site
  • Provide operational support of SaaS projects (Tier 1, Tier 2 support)
  • Produce technical drawings and project documentation for new installations and ongoing projects
  • Cooperate closely with R&D and execution of data acquisition campaigns
  • Collaborate with Sales, Project Management and Customer Delivery / Success teams

You would be perfect for this role if...

  • You have completed a technical education (BSc/BEng, MEng, MSc) with a focus on software / electrical engineering
  • You have firsthand knowledge or experience with Git, Phyton, Linux and in the areas of CI/CD and Docker
  • You are interested in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure)
  • You feel comfortable in an environment with colleagues from all over the world and agile ways of working and methods
  • You have a solution-oriented approach combined with initiative, implementation and organisational skills
  • You want to continuously develop yourself
  • You would like to go on international business trips every now and then
