Network Engineer

Your main roles and responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage computer networks, including LANs, WANs, WLANs, VPNs, and other networking technologies
• Develop and maintain network architecture diagrams and documentation
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure network stability, security, and reliability
• Perform network upgrades and improvements to ensure optimal performance and availability
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration of network systems with other IT systems
• Maintain network security by implementing and enforcing policies and procedures
• Perform routine network maintenance activities such as backup and recovery, patch management, and firmware update

You would be perfect for this role if

• you have a completed education in the field of IT (HTL, FH/Uni) or comparable relevant professional experience
• you have at least 3 years of professional experience in network engineering, design, and administration
• you are experienced with network hardware such as routers, switches, firewalls and wireless access points
• you have a strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols, network security and network management tool
• good communication and interpersonal skills are required to work with cross-functional teams
• you have excellent language skills in English and German
